Overview

Originally a 3 bedroom apartment, the floor plan was modified during the total strip out to create two master suite style bedrooms, with their own generously appointed bathrooms and uninterrupted opera house and harbour views. The kitchen and living areas were also completely opened up and combined to take full advantage of the exclusive views.

The reconstruction was exhaustive including new vaulted ceilings and curved bulkheads throughout to integrate to the flowing design brief, fresh walls and wall finishes and a complete renewal of all plumbing including flow and return hot water was also undertaken. The apartment was totally rewired and air conditioning service upgraded to take on the new C-BUS Control system.

The custom fitout including Crema Marfil Marble slabs imported from Spain for tailored installation to floors throughout the apartment and vanity top, hob and wall finishes in the bathrooms. All stone was ground and polished to full gloss in situ to ensure the perfect finish at handover. Joinery was completely integrated throughout the apartment with fully grain filled 100% gloss timberwork being painstakingly book and grain matched panel to panel. Curved joinery work was intensive with some radius veneer and polyeurithane panels being operable as doors and cupboards. All doors and draws are appointed with the latest automatic soft close systems.

No compromises were made in the technology incorporated into the residence with a full C-BUS touch screen and hand held control system commanding automated blinds, lighting, climate control and bathroom services including heated floors and towel rails. Audio and visual entertainment to all rooms are controlled via a centralized Krestron control system with IPOD, Foxtel, Blueray, and massive movie and music library storage. Krestron was integrated seamlessly with the C-BUS to allow centralized control of all apartment systems via either of the 3 hand held or wall mounted touch screen control panels. The whole system is accessible remotely by mobile phone or email to set the residence to the desired climate, lighting and music settings prior to arrival home or for security when away.

With its flowing curves, Triple A-grade finishes and latest and best in automated and entertainment technology this apartment has been made truly worthy of its world famous blue chip location.
