The Toaster #2

This project brought the Agia team back to “The Toaster” having been responsible for completing two other magnificent luxury apartment renovation projects within this building. This incredible property enjoys some of Sydney’s most enviable views; including floor to ceiling views throughout living, dining and bedrooms of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Royal Botanic Gardens.

This BDA Architecture project was exhaustive with Triple A-grade finishes throughout, including a world class kitchen and bathroom and state of the art automation with entertainment and climate technology. The original floor plan was completely overhauled to transform a three-bedroom apartment into a luxury dual master suite residence. All living areas were combined and opened to take full advantage of the views, creating apartment living that truly capitalises on its world-famous location.

Scope of works included: 

  • Bespoke curved bulkheads throughout, new vaulted ceilings with fresh walls and finishes

  • Complete technology upgrade to take on the new C-BUS and Kreston control systems

  • Commanding automated blinds, lighting, climate control and bathroom services including heated floors and towel rails. In addition to the latest audio and visual entertainment to all rooms

  • Custom kitchen and bathroom fit-out featuring Crema Marfil marble slabs imported from Spain

  • Completely integrated custom joinery throughout with fully grain filled 100% gloss timber work being painstakingly book and grain matched panel to panel. Curved joinery work was intensive with special radius veneer and polyurethane panels being operable as doors and cupboards

  • Complete renewal of all plumbing
