An incredibly historic, turn of the century Italianate property built by Australia’s first Prime Minister with gun barrel views of Sydney Harbour. Disappointingly the property had become so dilapidated that it was derelict. Thankfully a new owner had a vision and passion to return the property to its earlier grandeur.

Agia Projects proudly re-birthed a Blainey North & Associates design to a state-of-the-art, entertaining, luxurious residence. The project was all encompassing, from removal of the full-sized tree which had grown in the ballroom to working in complete partnership with the client to bring his contemporary vision for this historic property to life. An incredible and exhaustive transformation, Agia Projects proudly completed for our savvy and discerning client.

Scope of works included:

• Full structural rebuild including complete underpin of existing structure

• New lift installation including shaft and offset egress

• Complete electrical and hydraulic reconstruct

• Full mechanical design and construct (climate and extraction)

• Rock saw excavation for 20m heated lap pool
